Ionospheric Carrier

I deal with the notion of a lethargic internet in the context of mass surveillance and how it reveals a rooted infrastructural problematic; the cables that we use for internet all over the world are owned by entities that we can not trust anymore.

My research looks at radio as a medium that uses nature as a form of carrier, specifically concerning ionospheric propagation.
Is nature the answer to “reinvent the net” through radio propagation?

The anarchic idea of metaphorically “throwing” our own cables through the air and atmosphere, with all of it’s phenomena, particularities and distortions.
I frame certain elements of this network into sound by the use of Software Defined Radio techniques to parasitize antennas all over the globe in order to create this compositions.
